Privacy Notice

Your privacy is really important. Your rights do not exist because of your nationality, the colour of your skin, your language or your culture, instead your rights derive simply from your humanity.

We are Simon & Jo's Foodcast, for the purposes of this privacy notice we'll refer to 'us', and 'we' in the hope of making things simpler. You can get in touch with us by using the contact form at the bottom of the page.

What data do you collect?

Honestly, not very much. If you contact us via the website then we will process ID and contact information like your name and email address.

What is the data used for?

We use your data to communicate with you. If you email us it would be rude not to respond right?

What is your lawful basis?

Data protection law requires a lawful basis to use your data. We rely on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Do you share my data?

Yes, Wix.com host this website and act as a data processor. This means they can only act as instructed, they cannot start collecting your data for their own purposes. If you use the contact form the data will come to our inbox via Wix.

Do you transfer data out of the UK/EEA?

Yes, Wix.com is based in Israel. The EU Commission has determined that several countries, including Israel, have an 'adequate' level of protection of privacy rights. The UK has adopted these decisions post-Brexit. If you're curious you can find out more on the EU Commission website here.

How long do you keep data for?

We won't keep your data for any longer than necessary, and no longer than two years since our last interaction.
